SAKS 5th AVENUE WINTER PALACE FRONT SIX HOLIDAY WINDOWS 2015
Designed by: JUSTSO
Role: Drafter & Engineer (through Brooklyn Guild)
Venue: Saks 5th Avenue "Front Six" windows
For the Saks 5th Avenue Winter Palace, the Brooklyn Guild was tasked with executing portions of the front six windows. We were responsible for creating the structures that the flying mannequins would sit on, the backdrops, the Great Wall of China, and the snowy hills in all six windows. As a drafter and engineer on this project, I was responsible for designing the steel structures and bases for the windows, as well as guiding the shop with breakdowns and elevations to help them carve the bases and laser cut the great wall.
