In the surrealist, carnival based story of Shooting Gallery, It was my challenge to transport the audience to a worn and weathered Coney Island inspired world. By using the blackness of the theatre to aid in my design, I aged the theatre by adding cracks to the floor and dried out patches of grass emerging from the cracks. Litter of Orange Julius cups and trash were dressed on the set to add to this worn out world. Marquee lights separated the couple from the interface of the game, which lit up any time the bear was shot.
